Chief Information Officer's Office

Singapore is among the few countries in the world with an integrated and coherent approach to computerisation in the public sector. The Civil Service Computerisation Programme or CSCP aims to turn the entire Civil Service into a world-class exploiter of Information Technology.

The Chief Information Officer's Office or CIOO (Law) was established in 1987 as a department in the Ministry of Law to spearhead Infocomm Technology (ICT) exploitation within the Ministry as part of the CSCP.
