The Chief Information Officer's Office is
headed by the CIO (Law), supported by a group of Ministry
Computer Information Officers (MCIOs) and Administrative Officers.
MCIOs are responsible to their respective departmental/Ministry
users, by providing a range of ICT services.

To service the Ministry, CIOO is currently
organised into three major groupings. They are:
Application Services group:
This group manages ICT application systems for Ministry of
Law HQ, and its deparments which include Legal Aid Bureau
(LAB), Insolvency & Public Trustee's Office (IPTO) and
Community Mediation Centre.
Technical Services group:
This group manages the ICT operation in the Ministry, ensuring
the smooth running of the day-to-day computer operation including
online linkages to external agencies. It is also responsible
for desktop and network infrastructure management, and the
provision of a Helpdesk - a single point of contact for all
ICT-related enquires and problems.
Administrative Services group:
This group is responsible for the day-to-day office administration
in CIOO.
OUR PARTNERS
CIOO (Law) works closely with the various departments within
the Ministry of Law, providing consultancy services on various
ICT projects. CIOO (Law) also liaises and works with IDA and
other ICT vendor organisations to deliver the required ICT
solutions to the departments. Many of our services are outsourced
to the ICT industry. Examples include facility management
of our computer resources and the development and maintenance
of ICT application systems.
