The Government Chief Information Office or GCIO, a unit of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, supports the CSCP by providing strategic direction and policy guidance in the implementation of ICT within the Civil Service.

CIOO(Law) effectively plays the role of ICT architect and master planner in the Ministry to help realise Ministry's mission as well as the government vision.
Through relevant and timely application of IT, CIOO(Law) plays a significant role in ensuring that the Ministry of Law is able to exploit IT for a competitive advantage and to provide better services to the public.
